The conduct for which Trump was most recently indicted

may or may not have been criminal. I think that on the prosecution's very best day it is a very close call. But clearly, and beyond question, the conduct with which Trump is charged, most of which is factually undisputed, demonstrates beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is utterly unfit for public office of any kind, least of all for the office of President.

The fact that the new American right, including a large number of the regular posters here, fails to recognize this, tells us just how morally bankrupt that new American right has become. They (you) have utterly lost the capacity to engage in moral reasoning in any situation where Trump's political viability is at stake. They are willing to tear the country apart at the seams if it means temporarily owning the libs.

Hopefully, the Republican party as a whole will come to its senses and nominate someone else. Anyone else will do, anyone at all, so long as it's not Trump.

But if he's nominated, and God forbid he wins, then our country is truly broken once and for all.
