but one of the whackiestly stupid is the notion that Trump is being prosecuted for a few of his many crimes because he is leading in the polls for an election 15 months away.

1) Trumps crimes predated his announcement to avoid jail
by running for election by at least 2 years

2) If we didn't have an at least 5 tier system of justice,
with Trump at the top of the most privileged tier, Trump would be in jail awaiting his upcoming trials.

3) Trump is losing (and will lose) in almost if not every reputable poll for the Presidency

4) Trump is pretty much the only republican who can not and will not beat Biden

5) Trump's crimes are serious and if he is not tried for them, America will never recover (and still may not-TCW TCW TCW TCW TCW TCW)
