journalist. Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail is a GREAT book, btw. All I did here post a cute line of his and you guys go off on it. Weird. Hunter was clever in breaking what he often saw as stupid rules - he got a "priest title" out of the back of a magazine and then to be able to swim in the hotel pool EARLY - he claimed it a religious right. Goofy but effective. Guy was a bit of a dick too with little respect for his audience, showing up drunk at paid talk gigs. That mostly sucked to do that. Solid writer though
