All residents will now live in harmony with no crime, no drugs and no racism. No one will ask for more money or more racialized benefits. All problems are solved. Evanston is now paradise.
The article didn't say why black residents were leaving in the first place. Turns out, they just needed money. People with no money could afford to leave I guess and when they were paid paid to stay they stayed.
That makes perfect sense.
