this missile strike last week. Ukrainian Army officers, American special forces officers and a few dozen mercenaries from the U.S. and several other Anglosphere countries were holding a meeting in the restaurant and ballroom facility at a fancy hotel. The attack was timed to coincide with the meeting. The facility was completely destroyed and the hotel and adjacent buildings suffered structural damage. The structure collapsed killing and/or many attendees and trapping others. U.S. Army medical evacuation choppers lifted off from an American base in Romania, turning off their transponders before entering Ukrainian airspace. There are videos up on the interwebs showing volunteer emergency responders wearing military gear, including many Americans with U.S. Army shoulder patches.
