because Mahomes was forced to learn to be more patient and spread the ball around.

Now imagine getting another deep threat with a more well rounded Mahomes.

It's pick your poison at this point. In the modern day NFL, if you don't have a really good pass rush and secondary like the Seattle championship team a few years ago, you're going to get torched by the better offenses more often than not.
