the risks, but, how many were engineers that should have known the physics of the sub at full depth? Rush and Nargeolet should have, certainly. But Harding (a pilot) and Dawood (a businessman) likely had no functional understanding of the situation and yes, Dawood's son was certainly innocent.

Still I think it tacky to be joking about the horrific deaths of 3 people.
