I don’t believe he is trying to replace Putin. I think he is moving to take over full RU military which enables him to be at the top of the RU military corruption pyramid
I assume Prigozhin knows the war can’t go on forever and his window of opportunity is shrinking so he took action.
Putin has a dilemma. Prigozhin has been his most effective military leader but he can’t give in to Wagner’s demands. My guess is Putin buys Prigozhin off and they kiss and make up and pretend this was all just a misunderstanding
Similar to Putin’s SMO not being called a war.
