It should certainly be taken with a huge grain of salt, however, given that Russia has already destroyed most of Ukraine's air defenses, wiped out a majority of their electric grid, killed 3 times as many Ukrainians in 9 months as the US lost in Vietnam over the course of 20 years.
Iraq war hero, Col. Douglas Macgregor claims that Ukraine has lost the war and without western intervention has no chance whatsoever against the Russians at this point. He thinks it is extremely foolish if the Ukrainians do not sit down and try to negotiate terms of ending the war before the Russians destroy the country even further.
The Ukrainians were losing some 7 men to every Russian loss and the Russians already outnumbered them massively. The Ukrainians have been scraping the bottom of the barrel conscripting young boys and older men into the battle who have virtually no training or experience. They are no match for the Russian army.
