Only tough part for USC alums is that she's a UCLA alum. That being said, I believe she was the first (or one of the first) female AD in the SEC, certainly in Mizzou's history, and USC has never had a female AD.
I realize some may cite the "diversity" aspect of her possible hire, but she has SoCal roots, and that means a lot to the USC crowd.
Only part that is tough to defend is that she would have been the AD @ UNLV, Mizzou and USC, all in less than 3.5 years.
Then again, if they hired her, they'd have to give her a lot of room to grow, since they just canned their AD, who it turns out was a bad hire out of Cincy.
This will be interesting to watch, if it has any real merit.
