They do not spend that much time on the subject at all, nor do they talk about homosexuality. There are a few teachers that I have met AP high school teachers have picked a curriculum of reading material geared towards a subject that was of interest to them. One Literature teacher that I know picked reading material about Native
American rights and discrimination, and another picked material from majority of African American writers.
