“We live in a Constitutional democracy. Everybody, including the president, is bound by the Constitution and there are limits to their power,” Naftali, the former director of the Richard Nixon presidential library, told “CNN This Morning.”
“Trump not only had a hard time with limits, he didn’t respect them,” Naftali added. “And this is a case where he was told repeatedly that there were limits on his ability to keep materials and he said, ‘I don’t care.’”
That explains the benign reasons behind Trump taking and concealing government documents but is unknown is what did he do with those records.
Innocently use them to stroke his ego by parading them in front of people to brag about what he has or much more nefarious reasons to pay of hundreds of millions dollars of debt and or profit of top secret information
If Trump just kept the hundreds of documents just as a F U I was the POTUS so these are mine he deserves to go to jail
If he sold them or shared them with anyone without a security clearance he deserves to be held accountable for treason
