I miss some of the features of some older technology

nowadays everything is always online, always connected, always running with big, bright screens & draining the battery quickly & constantly.
Those old-school MP3 players had no internet, the screen was super low quality(and maybe not even back-lit) and the battery would stay charged for MONTHS.
I had an old MP3 player I hadn't used in a long time, maybe over a year and when I pulled it out the drawer it was still 60% charged.
