I guess he deserves credit for being in favor of it, because he says it's in the best interest of fans to have an extra competitive game instead of a non-conference cupcake that doesn't excite anyone and is just an easy win toward bowl eligibility. Even Saban at AL worries that 9 conference games will make it harder for them to get to the title game, and other schools like KY say it'll make achieving bowl eligibility more difficult. I'm not advocating for a return to the murderous NCS we played in the 1970s, but for my money I WOULD like to see us play better teams at Faurot. KSU is coming this season, so I hope that trend continues.
