most college sports run a net loss, not a net profit.

At most schools, football and men's basketball pay the way for EVERYBODY. In some places women's basketball and baseball contribute some.

I'm sure the men's golf team and the women's tennis team could have a great pizza party once a year with "all the revenues" they generate.
