and we basically had to beg to get him to come here. 2015 was only part of that problem-our BOC giving Sterk an unrealistic budget and then trying to make him appear stupid (rather than both of them) for who he brought to them just showed everyone that we still haven't learned what it takes to be a successful football program. Sterk didn't have the Moxie to make them see reality and the BOC has always been the biggest impediment to reaching our potential. Anybody building towards a future could see it wasn't a recipe for success. So we ended up with someone who the job was a reach for hoping to catch lighting in a bottle-and still had to convince him to come.
