the yearbook is a review of information.

Peer pressure is by far the biggest encouragement of any social behavior. Prohibition also seems like another way to encourage those in a rebellious state as well.

when I did a semester of university in Australia. They had dorm groups they called colleges. They were set up like 5 or 6 dorms with a dining room. a mini college culture.

At the end of the semester they did a yearbook.

On the back they put together a "hookup" tree that showed who hooked up with who. People laughed, some got mad. life went on.
