I do know many. some came here legally some not. Interestingly most Cubans that I know came here illegally but get immunity and become legal. Same as Venezuela. They are fairly conservative socially but not fiscally. Puerto Ricans are the same. I know Puerto Ricans from New York are a little more liberal especially when it comes to guns.
