I've found either one can produce prime beef.

I do think animals slaughtered between the ages of 28 and 32 months are almost can't miss if you can get them to atleast 1200 lbs. Grass fed then add grain (10 to 15 lbs/day) to their diet for 90 to 120 days. I've had great results doing this.
