Many of those issues are being experienced everywhere due to a shortage of workers in the service industry.

Also, it's pretty ****ty when hotels raise their rates for events but the bulk of those that do are chains not owned by Kansas Citians. KC could do with a few more hotels to ensure competition burns the gougers. The closing of main arteries made auto transportation kind of rough in that area as well. But the street car got people close to the Union Station. But the streetcar not going all the way to the Union Station was an NFL edict.
