mentioned he was out on bail awaiting a previous murder charge.

So the condition of his bail that he wouldn't possess firearms is pretty moot, isn't it?

And they will work out a plea deal so he ends up serving all sentences concurrently.

Fvck that. Have him serve the murder sentence and when that is up he can serve the most recent charges.
