problem is that politically he and Trump are pretty much on the same page. He cannot really attack Trump on the issues so he has to try to overcome Trump's cult of personality. That makes Trump hard to beat in the primaries but then flips and works against him in the general election.

If DeSantis can knock off Trump in the primaries I think he has a good shot at winning but if Trump wins I think Pedo Joe gets a second term.
