Mizzou has had 2 coaches in my lifetime (53 yrs) that left Mizzou with a .500
plus conference winning record: Powers & Pinkel. MU needs to find another Coach P! A sign of progress would simply be going 4-4 in SEC. I figure if Drink can do that then he ought to be able to go at least 3-1 in the noncon. Maybe 4-0 if he can upset Kileman. So 8 wins would be miraculous. .500 in SEC play a sign of progress with 7 total wins a sign of not getting upset in noncon. He’ll probably get another year regardless but there will be a distinct lack of confidence in where things are going. DRF seems to want to entertain and engage fans so trying to sell tickets to the Drink show will be a B in 24 if they are no better than a 3 win SEC program again and a team in middle kansas again shows they are a way better program. Who knows? Like Pingeton, buyout probably gets him some more time but games are going back to the 40000s range.
