RALEIGH, N.C. — Three North Carolina state senators have introduced a bill that would eliminate participation trophies in youth sports in the state.

Sen. Timothy Moffitt (R-Henderson), Sen. Eddie Settle (R-Wilkes), and Sen. Bobby Hanig (R-Currituck) sponsored Senate Bill 430, which is entitled "Eliminate Participation Trophies."
