I will be shocked if we EVER compete in football. I don't see Drink as the guy who can or will do that.

Gates has us started in the right direction with a LONG way to go. Next year will be telling. Can he up his game with higher level transfers combined with good freshmen and development of them for multiple years of contribution. Not an easy task but many coaches and programs do that consistently. I'm willing to let that play out for a few years with Gates.
