applicable here. He’s a good coach, but he’s better with high work ethic guys. As the profile of the university Texas grew in his time there, he began signing higher and higher rated recruits. As that happened, his results did not match and he became seen as an underachiever.
As his recruiting has improved at Tenn, a similar result is happening.
Some coaches just do better with hard work than they do with the elite guys that might have attitudes.
