No GOP candidate can win in 24 without capturing a substantial number of independent voters from the center. Trump's paltry base of 35% won't get him or anyone else over the top. The more you attack the Jan. 6 committee, and the more you praise demagogue Carlson's "work", the more you alienate the 5-10% of the voters who actually decide the election.
