I'm saying we trade for him.

He has two years left on his current contract. We bring him in for a year set all the season offensive records, give sky and toney another year to grow and prove themselves, win another SB and trade Hopkins to some other team that wants to sign an old guy to a big contract.

Essentially what I'm saying is we swap MVS out for Hopkins.

The truth is they were shopping him for a 2nd only so if we offer MVS and a 3rd they might take it.

I'd certainly make that move.
