It was probably a dump of a place before. A place that used to be something when they made steel or had a factory. But then the unions took over, killed the jobs, and the great men like Carnegie and Rockefeller who gave these people everything got ran out of town. Now it’s little more than a dying town with an aging population. Anyone who could got out.

The railroad will rebuild the town and these people will have brand new everything, only for it to continue to wither and die.
