The socialists think they are so far above doing anything as tawdry as this and their delicate sensibilities have been injured.
They haven't yet called this a threat to democracy, but that may be coming as well.
I was not a big Kevin McCarthy fan and was very happy that he was challenged for the speaker's job. But so far, he seems to be hitting all the right buttons.
Look for more indignation by the Socialists and their media support.
