The older I get, the more convinced I'm getting that we will some sort of major populist revolution against the rich in my lifetime. The rich keep getting richer at the expense of the average American.
Our parents and grandparents were able to afford a house, two cars, and pay for college many times with only the father working. Today that is impossible. Most people can barely squeak by with two bread-winners. And it's only getting worse every year with the continued search for growth and profits. It can't keep on this trajectory without people getting tired of it and doing something about it.
