ago. Midco Spring was renown for it's cool clear water and they were all taking drinks from the spring branch. Got to the headwater and where it was dammed up to make a well, the found a beaver carcass floating around in it where it had been unable to get out of the well.


Don't know if it was big and brown, but it was just east of Winona.

And north of Fremont.
