If the GOP asserts the right thing to do for Biden was to shoot it down immediately, and it was dangerous and weak to wait, and that Biden has weakened the US and emboldened our enemies by his delayed response
and then we find out that a current GOP candidate let the same act occur multiple times previously
Than how can anyone in the GOP support such a candidate who so obviously took an even much more disastrous approach, multiple times, than Bidens apparently poor response?
