I like the schedule the first two weeks...

First weekend: 2 games with legit top 10 teams Texas and Northwestern, plus Louisville (final RPI 47 last year), and a couple of much easier games against Fordham (118) and Prairie View AM (280). I’m fine playing a couple of really tough teams the first weekend, to see how we match up with them.
With NW of course, as always, it depends on whether we face Williams or not, so will depend on their pitching schedule. They play Texas Friday, us on Saturday, and Tennessee on Sunday. Williams is a workhorse so they may pitch her all 3 days against the top 25 teams they face. And maybe we get their #2.
The second weekend we play 5 games against pretty mediocre teams, so a good chance to get experience for the new starters, and maybe some of the role players who won’t play much in SEC games.
I’m hoping to at least get a split the first weekend with Texas and NW and come out 4-1.
