but why would you stop now and let Putin have a legacy issue vs just riding along and letting him die bitter? Doesn't he have cancer?
Right now, it's costing us $$$ and some old equipment that we'd likely park in the desert anyway. To me, it's the Ukrainians' call about whether they want it to end on any kind of terms that could be negotiated.
