OL is damn good. Hurts is the weak link. BUT, they don’t need greatness from him. They just need a guy that won’t shlt the bed 4-5 times per game. And that’s what he is. He is far from a stud, but he doesn’t mess up much and he fits in smoothly with what the rest of the team is doing.
Had the 49ers not sustained all the injuries, I would still bet that they probably would’ve won that game. Philly only managed, I think, one sustained drive without the aid of multiple blown calls or multiple penalties. If a couple of plays go the other way early in that game, then the snowball that derailed San Francisco would not have occurred.
