an actual tire shop. Tire Rack is fine. Even Discount Tire is fine.
Walmart, Sams, Costco are a big risk. The guy doing the work was probably a short order cook yesterday. the horror stories of problems with car service at walmart/sams are endless.

About the best combination of price, performance, and durability I've gotten out of tires for a 1/2 ton are Firestone Destinations. Not the best. Not the cheapest, but a good middle ground.
