work in the spring, shows that he's ready to be the guy, has a sophomore season similar to Blaine Gabbert's sophomore season, Cook is the backup, Johnson can redshirt, Horn balls the fvck out in '24, Johnson is the backup, Horn goes pro, Johnson proves he can be the guy in '25 and '26.
There is no other scenario that is better for MU in the big picture and quite possibly for the small picture of 2023.
If Horn, or any MU QB, can replicate Gabbert's Soph year with 3600 yards, 8.1 ypa, 2.7/1 TD/INT, and the rest of the team is reasonably like we think it can be, we'll win 9+ games.
