So Acme corp board room knew that hiring one widget
maker would net the company over one million dollars
per widget maker. What would you say about the board if they decided they weren't in business to make money so they will no longer hire the previous planned widget makers?
and the comparison. Lets say that there are exacty 1 million 1% in this country. Its reported that auditing a 1% nets the government 14 million per audit.
Lets say the government DID hire 87,000 new agents (they aren't - its more like 7000) but lets say they did.
And lets say that 1% tax returns are so complicated that these newbies can only audit 2 per year. And lets say they are poor auditors and can only net 1,000,000 per audit.
87,000 x 2 million (2 audits per year) = 174 billion.
Give or take 200 years (since they will still pile up mo debt) the country would be debt free.
Nah, too reasonable
NOTE: eliminating the IRS and switching to national sales and VAT tax , would do so much easier , quicker and more fair.
