felony bribery to defraud bank. Plead no contest, sealed and expunged.
Weed was in 1997, felony was 2000. According to wikipedia.
So, in effect he's never been "convicted" according to the legal system.
Naturally, all of this leaked out to press.
Obama dealt drugs, was in a gang. Media ignored it of course.
Look at the reaction now, since it's a conservative.
