Watched that game in COMO in a house on Gentry across the

parking lot from the Doopsie Oopsie house.
One guy had played HS ball at Hazelwood and played against a lineman for USC who had played at St. Charles. He turned around and said the lineman, who was black, and said "he is actually part lowland gorilla". The black girl watching the game with us was no amused.
Anyway, game was on tape delay and we all agreed to not learn the outcome on radio. Mid way thru the 3rd Q a roar goes up in Greektown. One of our guys had snuck into a back bedroom to listen on the radio and comes out saying "we won! we won!"
Never saw the end of that game. Melee on Rollins and Maryland. Trip to the stadium--I think the goalposts came down.
We were back at our dorm and finally settled down to bed when guy from across the hall comes in. "Coco" (from Coco the Clown)--the guy who had been listening to the game on the radio--got arrested.
For "hanging out". Hanging out of a car window yelling "we won! we won!" on Broadway.
CPD officer gets him to booking and was going to release him on a signature, but is going thru the arrest report info.
Place of birth? Johannesburg.
Where's that? South Africa.
OK smart-ass, get in the cell.
He had just moved to the US. His dad was a noted botanist hired by the Missouri Botanical Garden, so he didn't have a driver's license or any ID other than his Mizzou student ID.
We did get him bailed out, once we confirmed who he was.
