A chip shot field goal against Auburn: 7-5.

Properly called punt coverage tackle against Kentucky: 8-4.

And it doesn't stop there.

One or two more plays against Florida: 9-3.

Ready for the big stage and able to complete four quarters and we beat #1 Georgia: 10-2.

It's not like this team is light years away from a really great season.

Attention to detail. Taking care of the football a little bit more. Blocking just a little bit better. And maybe a little bit more depth on defense so that substitutions keep'em fresh until the end of the 4th quarter.

Cook is good enough and will be better this year.

Horn may beat him out and be even better.

Despite the ridiculous levels of self-loathing and Mizzou hating by a few, reality is not nearly that dark.

And that's without even discussing the incoming transfers and recruits.

It really is a Happy New Year for Mizzou Football.
