Is there any reason to be optimistic about 2023? With

Whispering Joe and Kamal toe leading us to oblivion, with the economy poised to go off a cliff, with racial strife getting worse, academics getting worse, the border getting worse, interest rates poised to get worse, and as we've seen on this board in the last two days… Ethics and morality don't matter.
We have Ketanji on the Supreme Court. We have perverts dressing up as woman admirals or stealing luggage from airports. We have affirmative action cabinet secretaries of defense and transportation. We have drag Queen story time in elementary schools, and we have determined that math, proper English, bridges, and exercise are racist.
We have spent trillions and will spend trillions more to fight mother nature and a myth of man-made climate change. It makes rich people feel good about themselves so we must do it. We spent trillions more fighting a virus and requiring vaccinations as well as lockdowns and closed schools that will damage our nation for decades.
On this board, Sally has informed us that ethics and morality are for losers. Lying has become routine and accepted. Standards are getting lower all the time.
Hating your country is cool, shows what a deep thinker you are.
What should we feel good about for the coming year?
