for most folks in the Midwest. It was after Christmas, not two days before. And it was kU's first bowl game in umpteen years. Combine those factors with the fact that our team (offense) is about as exciting as watching paint dry and you can understand the disparity.

You're right about Drink, however. If we don't see an offensive renaissance next year, his bags better be packed and ready to go.
