I went to the Capitol once. Had a reservation. No one died.

No one used bear spray, crushed police in a door or beat them with a flag pole. I didn’t break through a single barricade.
I went through the front door as it was unnecessary to climb the wall or break out windows.
None of the other tourists brought ties or wore riot gear. No ski masks as I recall. None of them communicated with the other as to their movements.
It did not include a tour of the Speaker’s office. I did not suggest that we kill any elected officials.
And oh yeah, I didn’t have to explain my presence in the Capitol that day to every future employer for the rest of my life.
