thought he was going straight to the NBA.

While recovering from the knee injury, he didn't put the rehab work in and had an inflated sense of his abilities.

He didn't think NBA players were much better than him as a High schooler. Just unfortunate for him since he was just a kid and thought everything would be easy for him.
