They're given time slots and locations, and asked for preference based solely on that, well before potential opponents are even considered. If we have a scheduling conflict with bowl x's scheduled time slot, or the location of the bowl is less convenient for our fan base, the AD puts them lower on the list.

This isn't rocket science and the ease and speed that you droolers get sucked into it should be concerning. It's sad that so many of you are this dumb.
