Yeah, I get that and enthusiastically support the format of the 12 team playoff
But not this year bc I believe those 4 are the best teams and the 1-4 matchup and the 2-3 matchups are great ones, unlike most of the prior years If a 12 teamer this one, I think one of the four at least would lose in the quarters.
Two downsides of 12 is the dilution of some of the regular season games (like last week's Michgian Ohio State) and the dilution of a real national champion as we see in March Madness. Exciting often, but also sometimes gives us an undeserving "National Champion"
USC will give Jawja a game, and TCU Michigan will be good, very good hopefully too. Fear The Frog
