than most know. It's more personal than killing from a distance. You can smell the blood. It takes more rage and to repeat it 4 times is a person who was enraged and of course, crazy. I'd suspect

1) so much violence is often drug related, but that lead would have been followed up by now if that house was into distributing and competing for territory

2)he was humilated by all 4, maybe had approached one of the women in a bar when they were together and they mocked the wrong over-controlled hostile person.Your intuition below is good.

3)They were known to represent a political cause, issue or side that the killer vehemently despised.

As for being a serial killer, some people realize after they've killed, that they enjoyed it. Most sre sickened by taking a life. This person may not have had that realization and found it stimulating.

Usually these people mess up because they just have to tell someone.
