The on-field results are critical, but the on-field perception is even more critical.

I'm fully on board with HCED and I hope MU fans realize that MU can't hire a proven entity, they have to hire either a high potential guy or a proven mediocre boring "safe bet" (see HCCM in hoops).

Pinkel had a TON more pedigree and years but came from Toledo, HCED is a bigger risk, less proven, but I see growth and every bit as high a ceiling as Pinkel reached.
